Privacy policy

Short, because there is barely anything to describe. Last updated 19 September 2026.

The short version

Amberparlour has no accounts, no sign-up and no payment form. We never ask for your name, email address, date of birth or payment details, because none of them are any use to us. Your game progress is written to your own browser and never sent anywhere.

Controller

Amberparlour is the controller for any personal data processed through amberparlour.com. Contact details are on the contact page.

None of this is transmitted to us or anyone else. It stays on your device, readable only by this site in your browser, and contains no personal data — a coin balance is not a person.

Analytics

If you accept optional analytics we may record aggregate, non-identifying usage: which pages are opened and which games are played, used only to decide what to build next. IP addresses are not used to build a profile, and nothing is sold, shared for advertising or combined with other data. "Essential only" switches it off entirely.

Server logs

Our host keeps standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, path, user agent) briefly, for security and troubleshooting, never for marketing or profiling. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.

What we never do

  • Sell or rent data. There is none to sell.
  • Run advertising, retargeting or gambling affiliate tracking.
  • Share anything with gambling operators, brokers or marketers.
  • Track you across other sites.

Children

Amberparlour is for over-18s and we do not knowingly process data about children. If you believe a child has used the site, tell us and we will help you block it.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Because we hold no account data, clearing this site's data in your browser is the fastest and most complete erasure available.

If a concern cannot be resolved with us, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
