The management

A room for people who like a game with edges

A small UK project. We built the volatile one on purpose, and we say so on the door.

What Amberparlour is

A social casino: casino games played entirely with virtual coins. You can play, level up and watch the Late Show pot climb. You cannot stake money, win money, or turn a coin into anything at all. That is the product rather than a limitation on it.

Why we built the spiky one

Most free casinos tune every game to pay constantly, because a steady drip keeps people seated. That makes for a reassuring hour and a forgettable one. Amberparlour went the other way: fifteen lines, pay weight loaded at the top of the table, and a free-spin ladder that saves its best for late. Fewer wins, and the ones that land are worth remembering.

We think that is more fun. We also think you deserve to be told before you sit down, which is why 29.6% hit rate is printed next to 96.2% coin RTP instead of hidden behind the more flattering number. If flat stretches are not your thing, play something gentler — that is a genuine recommendation, not false modesty.

Nothing is for sale

No coin packs, no premium currency, no payment processor connected to this domain. Empty balances refill for nothing, immediately, as often as you like. Amberparlour does not monetise players at all — it is built and run as a portfolio project. If that ever changed it would not become a shop, and this page would say so before anything else did.

Because no money or money's worth is staked and no prize is offered, Amberparlour is not gambling under the Gambling Act 2005 and is neither licensed nor regulated by the Gambling Commission. The 18+ gate stays regardless, for the reasons in our responsible play policy.

How we build

  • Measure first. No game opens until its return, hit rate, feature frequency and top pay are simulated and printed.
  • Publish the unflattering half. Volatility gets stated as loudly as return.
  • Fixed reel strips. Pinned in the source rather than shuffled at load, so published numbers describe every session.
  • No dark patterns. Nothing expires, nothing nags, nothing penalises you for leaving mid-round.
  • Readable source. The game runs client-side, unobfuscated. Check the file against the claim.

What we are not

Not a casino, not a bookmaker, not an affiliate, not a comparison site. We take no deposits, pay out nothing, and refer nobody to anyone who does. No gambling advertising appears on Amberparlour and none will.
